ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. — Two men were taken into custody Monday in Elizabeth City following separate incidents involving firearms and narcotics, according to local authorities. Officers identified the individuals as 19-year-old Jalen Spellman and 20-year-old Donnell Beasley Jr. Both were transported to the Albemarle District Jail after their arrests. Beasley, meanwhile, is facing a wide range of charges tied to alleged drug activity, weapons violations, and traffic-related offenses.
