**ELIZABETH CITY, N.C.** — Two men were taken into custody Monday in Elizabeth City following separate incidents involving firearms and narcotics, according to local authorities.

Officers identified the individuals as **19-year-old Jalen Spellman** and **20-year-old Donnell Beasley Jr.** Both were transported to the Albemarle District Jail after their arrests.
