Reporting allegedly infringing content

If you believe content appearing on OBX Ledger infringes your copyright, send a written notice with enough detail for us to identify the material and review the claim.

What to include in a notice

A notice should include:

  • Your name and contact information
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
  • The specific URL or enough information to locate the material on OBX Ledger
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate
  • A statement made under penalty of perjury that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf

After review, OBX Ledger may remove, disable access to, limit visibility of, or request more information regarding the reported material. We reserve discretion in how we investigate and respond to notices, repeat issues, incomplete notices, or counter-claims.

Counter-notices

If you believe material was removed or limited by mistake or misidentification, you may contact us with a counter-notice and supporting explanation. OBX Ledger may review the response and act in its discretion consistent with applicable law and platform operations.

Repeat infringement

OBX Ledger may suspend, restrict, remove, or terminate accounts, content, or site access involving repeated or serious intellectual property complaints.

Good-faith use only

Copyright complaints and counter-notices should only be submitted in good faith. Misrepresentations, abusive notices, or knowingly false claims may carry legal consequences.
