Use of the platform
OBX Ledger provides local news, classifieds, jobs, rentals, events, weather-related information, and related platform features for informational and community use. We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the site at any time.
Account responsibility
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity that occurs through your account. You agree to provide reasonably accurate information and keep it updated where appropriate.
User submissions
By submitting content to OBX Ledger, including listings, event information, contact messages, photos, descriptions, or other materials, you represent that you have the right to submit that content and that it does not violate applicable law or the rights of others.
You grant OBX Ledger a non-exclusive right to host, store, display, review, format, edit, reproduce, publish, moderate, distribute, and remove submitted content in connection with operating the platform.
Prohibited conduct
You agree not to use OBX Ledger to:

- Impersonate another person or misrepresent affiliation
- Upload unlawful, defamatory, abusive, threatening, or infringing material

Editorial and moderation rights
OBX Ledger reserves full discretion to review, edit, categorize, reject, limit, unpublish, suspend, or remove accounts, listings, articles, images, submissions, or other materials at any time, with or without notice.
Listings, transactions, and third parties
OBX Ledger is not a party to transactions, negotiations, rentals, hiring arrangements, event participation, communications, or disputes between users, advertisers, businesses, and third parties.
We do not guarantee the identity, quality, safety, legality, truthfulness, performance, pricing, availability, or completion of listings, services, offers, rentals, jobs, or events appearing on the site.
Intellectual property
The OBX Ledger platform, site design, branding, organization, editorial presentation, and original platform content may be protected by intellectual property laws. Except as permitted by law or by written permission, you may not copy, republish, reproduce, or commercially exploit protected site content in a prohibited manner.
Disclaimers
The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. OBX Ledger disclaims warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including warranties regarding availability, accuracy, reliability, non-infringement, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

OBX Ledger may update these Terms of Use from time to time by posting revised terms on this page. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted may constitute acceptance of the revised terms.
